Greetings from Zion

Leaving Las Vegas, we enjoyed a very picturesque drive north through Nevada -- reminiscent of a post card -- briefly through the red rocks of Arizona -- and on into Utah. The approach to Zion was beautiful, but was just a sneak peak of the grandeur within the park itself. After setting up camp beneath a magnificent peak and adjacent to the Virgin River, we shuttled into Zion and enjoyed a nice hike -- about a mile along the river to the Narrows.
